I’ve encountered many unusual things while discussing human interest topics on the site. There has been a lot of erratic behavior and strange attitudes that I can only compare to those of someone who is mentally unstable. However, the video I came across today was so nonsensical that I genuinely thought it was a prank at first. But it turns out that there are indeed people in the world who think it’s acceptable to steal dirt directly from someone’s front yard in broad daylight. And apparently, those people are in Utah.
The above video shows a woman filming a man as he shovels what appears to be construction site dirt from her front lawn into his truck. The strange man is accompanied by a woman who is apparently a neighbor in need of dirt. When the two were approached about what they were doing, the man became very aggressive, trying to justify his theft by saying he had spoken to the workers who laid the dirt there, saying they granted him permission.
Regardless of whether or not that’s true, the homeowners weren’t given any notification. From the moment the argument begins, the man already knows he’s done something wrong, even going so far as to ask if the woman filming thinks of him as a thief in an incredibly condescending way.
“omg he is so weird”
After some back-and-forth conversation, the man finally agrees to jump into the bed of his truck and clear out the dirt he had already loaded. The woman accompanying him continues to try to justify their presence there but fails to grasp that, even with the dirt still remaining, it is highly likely that the workers will return to finish the work that the dirt is there for in the first place.
Fortunately, the situation did not escalate any further, and the man, although visibly agitated, left in silence. Hopefully, we won’t encounter any more issues like this. However, considering the strange behavior he exhibited leading up to his decision to return the dirt, things were quite unsettling.
