Vardoran is absolutely massive. No matter how many castles you erect in any of the biomes you’ll encounter in your travels, getting to and from them will always be the biggest challenge. You can travel to different Waygates and then walk all the way to the nearest castle, but who really wants to do that? Let’s look into how to fast travel in V Rising 1.0.

Fast travel in V Rising 1.0 involves using Waygates to get to and from faraway places. On the map, these Waygates are categorized as green portals. Instead of walking to and from Waygates to use them, you can build one on your castle property anywhere on the map. However, to do this, you need to find and destroy Polora the Feywalker. Alongside several rewards, you also get the ability to craft Waygates.

Alternatively, you can also use cave passages to get to and from places on the map quickly. However, these cave passages don’t allow you to travel wherever you like and you are forced to end up wherever they take you. In most cases, cave passages will drop you off on the opposite side of the map. To craft a Waygate, you need:

  • 100 Blood Essences.
  • 20 Gem Dust.
  • 12 Stone Bricks.
  • Four Grave Dust.

How To Find and Use Cave Passages

Cave passages can be encountered in Silverlight Hills, the Cursed Forest, and Dunley Farmlands. They resemble reddish cracks in the walls that emit a red glow. From these points, press the F key on your keyboard to travel to and from the locations below:

  • Cursed Forest to Dunley Farmlands.
  • Cursed Forest to west Farbane Woods.
  • Dunley Farms to middle Farbane Woods.
  • Silverlight Hills to east Farbane Woods.
