Valorant Leak: New “Outlaw” Gun Is Being Added to the Meta

Nobody asked for a new sniper, but we’ll gladly take it.

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Since day one, Valorant has been known for its plethora of weapons. There are 17 total, to be exact, and each one serves a unique purpose in the meta. Now, after a recent leak on ‘X,’ it seems that for the first time ever, a new weapon is being added. Little information is known regarding the weapon, and some fans are even confused about its purpose. However, one thing is certain: the new gun will surely shake up Valorant’s meta.

Meet The “Outlaw,” Valorant’s New Gun

In a Chinese showcase video of upcoming weapon skins in Valorant, the new gun in question was unexpectedly leaked. The firearm is titled the ‘Outlaw’ and costs 2,400 credits. This would slot the gun right in between the Marshal and the Operator in terms of price. As soon as people began to take notice of the accidental leak, the video was promptly removed.

It looks to be a sniper rifle, though not all fans are in agreement. Its design is reminiscent of the BOSG, a long-range slug shotgun from the game Rainbow Six: Siege. Valorant doesn’t exactly need a new sniper, so this would make sense. After all, the Marshal and the Operator already fill the typical sniper roles.

Whichever purpose this new gun serves in Valorant’s meta, the Outlaw will likely be hugely popular. It’s almost half the cost of the massively popular (and expensive) Operator and will surely still have great one-shot potential. Unfortunately, for now, all of this is nothing but speculation. However, rest assured that as soon as we have more information regarding Valorant’s new gun, we will be eager to update you.
