Data miners tend to spoil Call of Duty, including its updates. This has been the case for years, and now it’s time forย MW3ย andย Warzoneย Season 3 to get data jacked. There are many leaks two weeks before the new season’s release, including new weapons names, a new possible Resurgence map, and more. Before diving into details, remember that not all of these leaked data will be featured in the final version.
Warzone and MW3 Season 3 Release Date

According to MW3 and Warzone‘s current Battle Pass, Season 3 is due to launch on April 3, 2024. Just like every other update, Season 3 begins at 9 a.m. PT. Depending on the content, you can expect a 16โto 20GB update for both games. That said, if the Rebirth Island Resurgence map is about to return in Warzone Season 3, the update’s file size will presumably be larger.

It’s been two years that fans are requesting the return of Verdansk and Rebirth Island to Warzone, and it seems like Season 3 is about to deliver. Verdansk isn’t making that big return, that’s for sure. But for Rebirth Island, we were teased back in the Call of Duty Next 2023 event that the fan-favourite Resurgence map is about to come in early 2024. Fortune’s Keep made its return in Season 2 as the main map for Warzone Ranked Play, and Rebirth Island might be the next in Season 3.
According to the leaks, there’ll be two new primary weapons coming to Warzone and MW3 Season 3. They are MORS and BAL-27, two familiar guns from the Advanced Warfare era. Of course, these weapons will be renamed and redesigned, but their functionality will probably be the same. There’s also a new secondary handgun called the MP9, which will also be renamed.
Missing the old MW2 weapons? What if we tell you that some of them are receiving buffs with new attachments? Yes! If you’ve levelled up the Lachman and M4 platforms in the past, be advised that these weapons will have new conversion kits in the new season. You’ll be obtaining these parts via Season 3 Battle Pass or weekly challenges.

Quick Fix and other perks are rumored to feature in MW3 as new gears in Season 3 or Season 3 Reloaded. But it’s noticeable that many new changes are coming to MWZ in this new season.
Let’s talk about the PvP zombies mode. This will make MWZ a lot more similar to DMZ, with Warlords having weapon cases in MW3 Season 3 and Season 3 Reloaded. It’s not the desired addition for the Zombies mode of a Call of Duty game to have players vs players in it, but it’s been also leaked that new missions are coming to MW3 Zombies to keep undead killers busy for a while.
There is no data on the playlist updates and new possible Multiplayer maps coming to MW3 Season 3. But it’s certain that this game mode will also be updated with new camo events, playlists, and redesigned maps.
