The wild scene was caught on camera by a passerby and quickly uploaded to Reddit. In the clip, four women are seen locked in a chaotic fight. One tried to land blows to another’s head while another clawed at someone’s face. Their brawl dragged them across the sidewalk and all the way to the doors of two nearby businesses. Hair was yanked, items were thrown to the ground, and onlookers either shouted or watched in disbelief. It was a frenzy of flailing limbs and loud screams that completely overtook the area.
The chaos didn’t last too long though. A nearby cop swiftly arrived on the scene and, upon seeing the unrelenting brawl, immediately reached for the pepper spray. With one sharp blast of yellow mist, the cloud spread across the crowd, causing the fighting women to recoil and finally break apart. One of the brawlers stopped to gather her scattered bag and belongings, but any hint of calm didn’t last long.
Just moments later, a second brawl broke out, this time between two of the original women. As fists flew again, the officer didn’t hesitate to spray a second round of pepper spray, effectively ending the clash. Some bystanders began coughing from the lingering spray in the air, but at least the fighting had come to a stop.
As of now, it’s still unclear what caused the violent dispute between the women. Thanks to the quick response from the Washington officer, the situation was brought under control before it could spiral even further out of hand.
