This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information.

The live stream of PlayStation State of Play broadcast aired today at 6 pm E.S.T. Showing Playstation fans small glimpses into what’s to come over the next few months. A lot of exciting new things in just the next couple of months. Play Station uses these monthly episodes to communicate with their players regularly.

Monster Hunter

The May episode started with Monster Hunter, which is releasing this September from Capcom. The Massive DLC Expansion is accompanying the release. Monster Hunter: World Iceborne has mystery and warmth to it the RPG looks to be an exciting experience for all players continuing in the Monster Hunter Series.

Riverbond

Next on the agenda for the State of Play was Riverbond. A world not unlike Minecraft with its Blocky textured world you slash and shoot anything in your way while you play with your friends and search to complete tasks. The game has a four-player co-op, and the goal is DESTRUCTION. You will also have the ability to utilize the eight cross-over skins available to you. Players are excited to create and destroy with friends.

Predator: Hunting Grounds

Moving on, the next game talked about the online shooter game by illfonic and 20th-century fox, Predator. The beloved franchise, of course, has not lost many fans and with the new graphic in the online game, players are in for a treat. The game will launch in 2020.

MediEvil

Then to the reason, most players attended the live stream, MediEvil. The remake of the first games brings you back to the world of Fortesque. As a knight, a second chance to undo the past and right your wrongs. The game maintains its use of sword fighting and magic to complete any tasks, side missions and the story mode — the game redone for the best player experience yet.

Away: The Survival Series

However, if magic doesn’t suit your fancy, State of Play was sure to include information on a new and original game called Away: The Survival Series. In this game, you are an animal in a beautiful place fighting for your life around every rock and tree. Life throws curveballs at us, and there is no exception as a squirrel or jaguar. You utilize your most primal instincts. Kill or be killed. You protect your family and engage every cause of action to stay alive. Be on the lookout for more on Away: The Survival series.

Days of Play

Continuing in the broadcast State of Play was proud to announce a new ticket item that will be available in June to help launch the Days of Play Event Play Station is having. A new PS4 will be available; it is a Limited Edition all-new sleek system that players can get for a limited time only.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

And last but not least the best announcement in this months episode. The remake of Final Fantasy VII. The new Final Fantasy reenvisions one of the longest reigning and loved game franchise in gaming history. Better graphics and faster play. It’s a brief teaser, but it ends with the promise of more information coming in June.

PlayStation is moving forward with their style. This year will hopefully be as incredible for the company as last years record breaking games and sales. More news on Sony Play Station stay tuned for the next episode of State of Play.
