The Mysterious Stone Slates in Genshin Impact and their locations are related to the Jinni Shrines. If you’re around a Shrine, you’re probably near a Slate. The Slates are handy to track down if you need some extra Primogems. There are six Mysterious Stone Slates in all, and as the mythical Jinni race is involved, discovering some of them will require revealing hidden walls. With our guide, you’ll promptly track down all of the Mysterious Stone Slates and collect your hard-earned prizes.

As we mentioned, there are six Mysterious Stone Slate locations. They are all located in the Desert of Hadramaveth in the Sumeru region. You must discover the Jinni Shrines in the Desert if you want the Mysterious Stone Slates in Genshin Impact. All but one hide behind a fake wall. Before you track them down, you must complete The Dirge of Bliqis World Quest Series. Doing so will get you the Jinni in the Magic Bottle – Liloupar gadget.

Although you can further explore the Desert with this gadget, you must upgrade it to use it to reveal those hidden walls that cover the Mysterious Stone Slates in Genshin Impact. You’ll earn the upgrade known as the Large Atmospheric Vortics when you do The Falcon’s Hunt quest.

It doesn’t take too long to get the Slates, but it does add to the overall fun grind-based idea behind Genshin Impact. By the end, you’ll gain a total of 25 Primogens.

Below we’ll explain how to get each of the six Stone Slates. There is no particular order, however. So you can discover them however you see fit. You can refer to the map above to correspond with the numbered locations.

Mysterious Stone Slate Location #1

Head west of The Sands of Three Canals. It will be the only Stone Slate you will find not hidden behind a false wall as it sits out in the open in an Exquisite Chest next to the Shrine.

Mysterious Stone Slate Location #2

Our next Mysterious Stone Slate in Genshin Impact is found east of The Sands of Three Canals. It’s behind an illusionary wall in an Exquisite Chest.

Mysterious Stone Slate #3

Look for the Jinni Shrine west of the Fane of Panjvahe domain. Like the previous one, the Slate is behind a fake wall.

Mysterious Stone Slate #4

Search for the Shrine tucked between The Sands of Three Canals and the Qusayr Al-Inkhida’. An easy way to find it is to head south of the Fane of Panjvahe domain.

Mysterious Stone Slate Location #5

Move west of the Passage of Ghouls. There’s a Jinni Shrine that hides the Chest you need for the Stone Slate.

Mysterious Stone Slate #6

Go north of the Tanit Camps. You’ll quickly find the Jinni Shrine and the illusionary wall.

Once you have the Mysterious Stone Slates, you can use them to unlock two doors. You will use three of the Slates for each door. Just unlocking one will earn you The Nameless City’s Past game achievement. When you access both doors and loot the Precious Chests, you’ll get your 25 Primogens.

You will find one door south of Safehe Shatranj. Use the nearby Teleport Waypoint. Behind you will be a path you can follow until you reach the door.

For the next door, you will remain in the ruins. Leave the first door you find and walk right down the hall. Go through the room, and to your left, you’ll see a door on the left side. Enter through it and find the next locked door; you can use the other three Mysterious Stone Slates.
