As you progress through the early stages of Pandora’s story, you’ll soon reach The Eye of Eywa quest. From a conversation with Na’vi in Aranahe Clan Hometree, you will learn about a special Aranahe clan ritual for which you must find Swamp Hive Nectar. As the description of this material in your Hunter’s Guide suggests, you can find it in the Swamp Lowlands biome. But this is not so easy since there is an RDA station nearby. We are here to help you and tell you how to get and use Swamp Hive Nectar in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – Swamp Hive Nectar Location
As we said, to find Swamp Hive Nectar in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you must go to the Swamp Lowlands biome in the Silk Woods of Kinglor Forrest. As with other resources, you should go to the in-game menu and open the Hunter’s Guide. Next, go to the Wildlife tab and select (Pin) Swamp Hive.
To find a more precise location, open the in-game map and select Show Biome in the lower left corner. Then, find the desired location, but there is a little trick. If you zoom too much, you’ll see the Swamp Lowlands biome northwest of the Hometree as a vast swamp area, but that’s not what you’re looking for. Zooming out on the map, you will notice that this swamp is in the Stoneblade Ridge area.
You should focus your search within the Silk Woods, especially southwest of Hometree. You can find a lot of Swamp Hive on the tall winding roots near the Gas Harvester Alpha RDA. But you won’t be able to collect a single drop of nectar until you destroy the industrial station.
How To Destroy RDA Gas Harvester Alpha
Once you reach Gas Harvester Alpha, you must use Na’vi vision to spot the three highlighted mechanisms. More precisely, you must activate two levers and turn one valve, but the problem is that there are many enemies on the territory of the object. The best solution would be to run up to each mechanism, activate it, and immediately retreat. Repeat this three times, after which the RDA Gas Harvester Alpha will be destroyed.
After completing this task, you will see a cutscene in which nature returns to previously polluted locations. After you return to this location, you will find the entire station is overgrown with plants. Now, you only need to go to the swamp locations we mentioned earlier and collect Swamp Hive Nectar on high roots.
How To Use Swamp Hive Nectar
In addition to needing some Swamp Hive Nectar for the story quest, you can also use it for cooking. As a main ingredient, this nectar will give your dishes the Firewalk ability, allowing you to increase your fire resistance. But you can also experiment by adding this ingredient to other dishes.
