The Zelda Splatfest in Splatoon 3 is coming on May 5, 2023, and you have three teams to choose from! Team Power, Team Wisdom, and Team Courage are your options, each embodying different beliefs represented by the Zelda cast. Every Splatfest participant will get prizes, though the winning team will get more rewards. This puts a lot of pressure on your team choice since you want to get the most rewards for your participation. But even choosing the team with the most players doesn’t guarantee victory. Which team should you join for the upcoming Zelda Splatfest?

What Are The Unique Qualities Of The Zelda Splatfest Teams?

There isn’t a special bonus you get by choosing a team; it’s just a way to decide which team you are on. Joining Team Power doesn’t make you spray more ink in the Zelda Splatfest, just like Team Courage doesn’t give everyone a morale boost. The real appeal is choosing a team that represents your values or appeals to you somehow.

  • Team Power is the red team, with Ganondorf as their symbol. Overwhelming opponents with brute force is their specialty.
  • Team Wisdom is the blue team, with Princess Zelda as their symbol. They approach situations carefully and act after deciding on the best option available.
  • Team Courage is the green team, with Link as their symbol. They stand against adversity and remain stalwart, regardless of the odds.

Choose whichever team picks the values you support, or your friends are joining. Everyone’s a winner, and it won’t hurt you to choose a team, as you get prizes just for participating. No team is guaranteed victory just because they have more people; Splatfest is decided through the result of several games. Each team has an equal chance of winning, though Half-Time is the perfect chance to turn the tides once you know which team is winning.

There’s plenty of time to choose a team, but make sure you decide before the Splatfest Sneak Peek, which takes place just before the Splatfest itself. The results of the Sneak Peek do influence the final winner of the Splatfest, and the Zelda Splatfest won’t be any different.

If you haven’t played Splatoon 3 and want to join before the Zelda Splatfest starts, there’s a nice bundle with Splatoon 3 and 3 months of Nintendo Online membership to get you started right away. You can also check out the winner of the last Splatfest to see what teams the players chose.
