Starfield is a new open-world RPG from Bethesda in which you can explore the vast expanses of space. And there, among the stars, you will find many planets with unique landscapes, cities, flora, and fauna. In addition, players will be able to create not only unique characters but also build ships from different parts. Since it’s still a Bethesda game, many players expect dozens and hundreds of mods for this RPG. So, read on to find out if Starfield will have mods on Xbox.

Bethesda knows how to make vast open-world RPGs. Therefore, Skyrim and Fallout 4 are popular to this day. One of the studio’s secrets to success is its mod support. The modding community has created a large number of mods for these titles, and some of them can drastically change the gameplay. That’s why players now want to know about modding Starfield on the Xbox console.

Well, luckily, Bethesda confirmed in an interview that players will be able to use mods in Starfield on both PC and Xbox. However, the exact date of the release of this feature is not yet known. At the moment, players can only use mods on PC using various third-party applications. In the case of Xbox, you will have to wait for the developers to add the official mod tool.

Even though it’s just released, you can already find dozens of different mods for Starfield. Most of them improve performance, some textures or change HUD. However, there are also quite funny ones, such as the Nicolas Cage Flashlight mod, which replaces the light from your flashlight with the actor’s face.

It’s also worth noting that based on past Bethesda titles, you won’t be able to earn achievements using any mods in Starfield on PC or Xbox. Such a limitation was in Skyrim and Fallout 4. And this is not surprising since some mods can greatly simplify the gameplay. Although the developers have not yet confirmed this information, we assume that they will add this limitation to Starfield.

That’s all you need to know about Starfield mods for Xbox. We hope that Bethesda will add a mod feature to the game soon so that console players can make their gaming experience even better.
