WNBA Players Denied Entry into Indiana Nightclub After All-Star Game, ‘She Even Name Dropped Angel Reese and Got Denied Harder’

I guess they aren’t famous enough

It is not uncommon for famous people to believe they have special benefits for the sole fact they’re famous. In many cases, they absolutely do, like wealth. However, these privileges do have limitations, and sometimes people don’t know who you are. This past week, several WNBA basketball players were outright denied entry into a nightclub in Indiana. And, as to be expected, they were not too happy about their night being ruined.

Several WNBA players were denied entry into a nightclub after the All-Star Game this weekend. “We in the W (WNBA), and just got done with the All-Star game; we shouldn’t even be waiting in no line.”

Shared on r/IAmTheMainCharacter, allegedly, the WNBA players went there because player Angel Reese was having an afterparty with the other players. There was supposed to be a table ready for several girls, including Courtney Williams and Natasha Hiedeman. Unfortunately, as the story goes, the club was quickly at full capacity due to how many people showed up, and they were turning people away at the door.

In a tale as old as time involving sports players, they used peak entitlement to try and get in anyway. Williams told a bouncer at the door, “Bruh, we in the ‘W’ and s**t and we just got done at the All-Star Game. So, I’m sorry, I’m not even trying to be funny but we should not be waiting in no line.” She went on to reference her Twitch stream, “We always on stream. Ya’ll know that.” Apparently, the bouncers did not know about her stream and treated her like she was any other person waiting in line. I don’t blame the bouncer; I didn’t know either.

One person commented on the story, “Why wouldn’t you just call up before hand and ask for a table? Like that many people surely you call.” It turns out, the situation sorted itself out when Angel Reese found out her girls were waiting for her outside. They were eventually brought in to VIP and all was well. However, it goes to show that celebrities will always try to flex so that they can gain the benefits of accessing certain areas and events. One person commented, “Peak entitlement. Girl they don’t know you get you’re a*s in line.”

Others made cracks about the situation with comments like, “If only they had brought Caitlin Clark,” making reference to the fact she gets more recognition and attention than almost anybody in modern WNBA. Unfortunately, Clark missed out due to a leg injury she suffered before the break. She wasn’t able to come to the rescue this time.
