Last month Microsoft revealed that indie RPG, Earthlock: Festival of Magic, would be one of two Xbox One Games with Gold titles coming this September. Now they have shared all four of the upcoming titles via their blog post. These games will be available throughout the month of September to users who are subscribed to Xbox Live Gold.

In addition to Earthlock: Festival of Magic, players will be able to download the popular Forza Horizon at the beginning of September as well. If you have been out of the Forza game for a while, this could be the push you need to get back into the action, seeing as though the newest addition to the franchise (Forza Horizon 3) will be releasing on September 27, 2016.

We can also look forward to Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China to be ready for download come mid- September. It is the first in an Assassin’s Creed spin-off series and takes place in 16th century China. Surprisingly, it received a fair amount of attention but was nowhere near as engaging or comparable to the original games in the series.

One of the most notable titles in the Games with Gold pack for September is Mirror’s Edge, which was released on the last generation of consoles. It is the predecessor to May 2016’s release of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and is our first introduction to series protagonist Faith and the infamous City of Glass. This will also be available for download starting mid-September. Keeping with the tradition of all the other titles in the Games with Gold program, Mirror’s Edge and Forza Horizon will support backward compatibility with the Xbox One.

Below are the four September 2016 Games with Gold lineup and download dates:

Xbox One:

  • Earthlock: Festival of Magic (September 1-30)
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China (September 16-October 15)

Xbox 360:

  • Forza Horizon (September 1-15)
  • Mirror’s Edge (September 16-30)

To redeem these titles, simply click on the “Gold Area” on your Xbox console. New games will appear automatically, ready to install on your Xbox One. You can watch the quick video below.
