If there’s one thing we can count on as much as the sun rising in the morning, it’s another game being ported to the Switch, this time it’sย Zombie Army Trilogy.

I’m not saying that many ports on the Nintendo Switch are a bad thing, far from it. The Switch is my primary console at the moment, and not only are players treated to quality Nintendo games we also get to play games we’ve missed or old favorites on the go. Long may it continue.

Zombie Army Trilogy has been out for a while now, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC version released back in 2015. A spin-off of the Sniper Eliteย series,ย Zombie Armyย tasks players with ending WWII once and for all by taking down Hitler and his titularย Zombie Army.ย It was a game straight out of the history books.

If you’ve never played it before, you can take a look at our review here. Our reviewer at the time wasn’t the biggest fan. It must be said; however, I enjoyed my time with it on the Xbox as I played it exclusively in multiplayer.

Thankfully, the Switch version will support co-op for up to 4 people. It will also come with everything previously released on consoles and feature 2-4 player wireless local play and motion controls. Although, I’m not sure how I feel about the motion control aspect as things can get very hectic, and I could see myself needing a rest.

Zombie Army Trilogyย will release on the Switch in the first half of 2020. There’s no firm release date at present; however, fans should be pleased to know that Zombie Army 4: Dead Warย will launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 4, 2020.

We’ll bring you more on the Switch port ofย Zombie Army Trilogyย as it comes in. We may even treat you to a new review if you’re lucky. Let’s hope they do an excellent job on the port.

Let us know in the comments if you’re excited about this latest port or if you want to stick to newer releases for your Switch.
